Light & Bath Studio is the new name for Vintage Lighting and Interiors. Founded in Nairobi in 2012, we were built on a single belief: that lighting and bathrooms deserve the same care and consideration as every other element of your home.

How we started
Born from a renovation that wouldn't compromise
Our founder spent months searching Nairobi for bathroom fittings that matched the quality she'd experienced in European showrooms - and kept coming up short. She flew to Milan, sourced directly from three manufacturers, and opened the studio's first showroom on Kijabe Street in 2012.
Word spread. Architects called. Hotels enquired. And over time it became clear that the same gap existed in lighting - a market full of generic imports and very little curation. In 2020 we expanded into decorative and architectural lighting, bringing the same sourcing standards to chandeliers, wall sconces, LED systems and more.
Today we represent over 20 carefully vetted brands across lighting and bathrooms, maintain local stock in Nairobi, and work closely with every client - residential or commercial - from first brief to final delivery.
That growth is why Vintage Lighting and Interiors (and our Vintage Living shop) has evolved into Light & Bath Studio: the same team, the same Kijabe Street showroom and the same standards, under a name that says what we do.
